In Blue Fabrics {Blog Tour}

I am so thrilled I get to be a part of this amazing blog tour showcasing gorgeous prints from the In Blue Fabrics collection by Katarina Rochella for Art Gallery Fabrics.  Be sure to check the tour schedule at the end of the post as well as the link to the giveaway!!

In Blue Fabrics {Blog Tour}

The In Blue fabric collection features hot air balloons and windmills, vintage bicycles and the most gorgeous florals you’ve ever seen!  The blues on white with touches of a soft pink used for this collection are so dreamy!!

In Blue Fabrics {Blog Tour}

A trip to the Mobile Botanical Gardens has been on my list of things to do since we moved here so for Mother’s Day we decided to take a day trip to the gardens.  The moment I saw the InBlue line I knew the gardens would be a perfect backdrop for this photoshoot.

For my daughter’s outfit I sewed up a Mattie’s Scalloped Suspender Skirt in the ever gorgeous Bloesem Sweet and trimmed with white piping.  I paired the skirt with a Helena Top in Weide in Rose.  The faux pin tuck placket and button down back are my favorite features of this shirt.

I made this floral crown with perfectly matching silk flowers from Joann’s.

Some of you may have recognized the pattern my son is wearing as the Cozumel Shirt by Winter Wear Designs, found in the One Thimble Issue 12.  This shirt is my go to when I need something for this handsome boy.  I adore those pin tucks.  (Can you tell I have a thing for pin tucks!?!)

I used the Chinoiserie Kobalt for his shirt and some brown buttons I found in my stash.  I love when a fabric line has something for both my kids to wear.

      I’m not gonna lie, I used yours as my inspiration 🙂
      Up until recently even if I made him something he didn’t want to cooperate when it came time for pictures.
