Women’s Waterfall Raglan {Chalk and Notch}

I finished off 2016 with my first pattern test for Chalk and Notch Patterns and after weeks of keeping quiet, I finally get to share the Women’s Waterfall Raglan with you.

This has easily become my favorite shirt I’ve ever made.  I want to wear it everyday and actually get sad when I find it in the laundry.  I need to find some time to make a few more and add them to the rotation.

Having never tested for Gabriela before I wasn’t sure what to expect from her patterns but she has exceeded all expectations.  This pattern is beautifully drafted and her instructions are clear and easy to follow with detailed illustrations throughout the tutorial.

The Waterfall Raglan is a relaxed knit top or dress with a slightly gathered ruffle hem.  The sleeve is a slim sleeve fit with three sleeve options: short, 3/4 (as shown) and long sleeve, along with a small pocket option.  The length of the top is perfect for wearing with your favorite pair of leggings.

I used this gorgeous floral 4-way French Terry I had from Sincerely Rylee.  This fabric is so buttery soft and has great drape, it was meant to be made into a Waterfall Raglan.  The few yards I had weren’t enough to pattern match the stripes but I still love how it turned out.

My daughter saw me trying my shirt on and instantly declared it hers so after buying the girl’s pattern (and more fabric) I can make her a matching shirt.

The pattern is live today and on sale thru Sunday (Jan 22nd).

You can purchase the bundle HERE or individually
